Please note the Battery Model is A1582. Both A1493 and A1582 are compatible with A1502, but the two battery models correspond to different years of computer production. A1493 is for Late 2013 Mid 2014, A1582 is for early 2015 The computer can’t recognize the wrong model, then the battery and can’t work.
